Idaho Rain Forecast: Steady Precipitation This Week

The U.S. National Weather Service in Boise, Idaho, is reporting that rain is moving into the region this morning and will continue through Monday. Forecasted precipitation totals for several locations in the region have been provided.

For example, in Baker City, 0.06 inches of rain are expected on Sunday, with an additional 0.09 inches on Monday, 0.13 inches on Tuesday, 0.03 inches on Wednesday, and 0.02 inches on another day following Wednesday. At Banner Summit, precipitation totals are forecast to be 0.03 inches on Sunday, 0.00 inches on Monday, 0.06 inches on Tuesday, and 0.00 inches on both Wednesday and the following day. Similar updates are available for Boise, Bogus Basin, Brundage Mountain, Burns, Caldwell, Fairfield, and Idaho City.

In addition, some mountain sites in the Owyhee and West Central Mountains have recorded 0.40 inches of rain in the past 24 hours. Detailed forecasts have been provided for each site to help residents understand the expected weather conditions over the next several days.
