Idaho Forecast: Widespread Rain, Mild Conditions

The US National Weather Service in Boise, Idaho, issued a forecast for Sunday through midweek detailing precipitation and temperature expectations for several locations.

Widespread precipitation is expected late tonight and throughout Sunday, with a continued wet pattern Monday through Wednesday. Temperatures are forecast to remain above normal, with most areas seeing temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s.

The forecast includes specific probabilities of precipitation for cities in the region. For example, in Boise on Saturday at 5 pm a 15% chance is expected, rising to 85% by 11 pm. Sunday morning at 5 am, the chance is 100%, and it remains high into the morning hours. On Monday, Boise is forecast to have a 70% chance at 5 pm and 35% by 11 pm, while Tuesday shows a reduction to 20% at 5 am and 15% at 11 am, with an increase later in the day.

Other cities such as Baker City, Bogus Basin, Burns, and Caldwell also have specific forecasts with precipitation probabilities noted at multiple times throughout the period. For instance, Baker City on Sunday morning at 5 am shows an 85% probability, and later at 11 am an 80% chance. Similar detailed percentages are provided for the remaining days.

The forecast provides information on precipitation types along with the probabilities to help residents plan for the upcoming wet period.
