Geneva Officer Attends Toddler Takeover

Geneva, N.Y. — Officer Shugars had a blast representing the Geneva Police Department at today's Toddler Takeover, a Get Ready to Grow Festival hosted at the Boys and Girls Club on Carter Road.

The free community event brought together families with kids ages 0–5 for a morning packed with Touch-a-Truck, face painting, developmental screenings, bubble shows, and a visit from Elsa & Anna.

“Community events like this are exactly why we love serving the City of Geneva. It’s not just about keeping our streets safe; it’s about showing up, connecting with families, and building relationships that matter,” the department said.

“Big thanks to Geneva 2030 and Wayne County Community Schools for putting together such a wonderful event. We loved being a part of it,” the department said.
