Pickles Butte Sanitary Landfill will hold a free quarterly household hazardous waste and electronic waste disposal event on Saturday, September 13. The event will take place at the Ford Idaho Center, located at 16114 Idaho Center Blvd, Nampa, ID 83687, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Canyon County residents can dispose of household hazardous waste and electronic waste at no cost. Attendees are asked to remain in their vehicles and place their items in an accessible location, such as the trunk or truck bed. Each household is limited to 25 gallons or 20 items.

The event does not accept biological or radiological waste, explosives, ammunition, or prescription drugs. Business waste will not be accepted without an appointment. Those needing to dispose of business waste should call (208) 577-4737 to schedule an appointment.
