On September 2 at about 3:55 p.m., a hit-and-run accident occurred at the intersection of Indiana Ave. and Cleveland Blvd. According to the Caldwell Police Department, a red passenger car struck a blue Tahoe in the intersection before fleeing east on Cleveland Blvd. Debris from the red vehicle, specifically a front passenger bumper, was found at the scene and matches parts used on a 2005-2010 Pontiac G6.

The driver of the red car later turned themselves in. Authorities are still investigating the incident and are asking anyone with additional information to contact Officer DeFur at 208-455-3115 and reference CPD case #25-37065.
