The Caldwell YMCA is offering free snacks to children under 18 years old at its facility. The program is available during school year hours from Monday through Friday. On school days, “Super Snack” is available from 4 to 6 PM. On non-school days, snacks are provided for lunch from 12 to 1 PM and another snack is served from 2 to 3:30 PM. The National Weather Service in Boise says winter weather will continue through Friday, followed by a high-pressure system that should bring warmer, drier conditions starting Saturday.

Boise-area residents should expect several inches of snow through Feb. 22, with Brundage and Trinity Mountain forecast to receive 12-18 inches and most towns 1-4 inches, according to the National Weather Service in Boise, which notes that “1” equals 0.1 inch.

Boise NWS Forecasts Light Rain, Mountain Snow in Idaho
