Idaho Valley Braces for Near-Record Heat
The U.S. National Weather Service in Boise, Idaho, has issued a warning for high temperatures approaching near-record levels this weekend. Valley locations are expected to reach close to 100°F on Saturday. For example, Boise is forecast to hit 98°F on Saturday. Other locations are also experiencing high temperatures. In Caldwell, temperatures could climb to 99°F, while Baker City and Burns are both set to reach 91°F on Saturday.
The forecast for Tennessee locations over the coming days is as follows:
• Baker City: 87°F on Wednesday, 80°F on Thursday, 84°F on Friday, 91°F on Saturday, dropping to 64°F by Tuesday.
• Boise: 91°F on Wednesday, 92°F on Thursday, 89°F on Friday, 98°F on Saturday, and a decrease to 68°F by Tuesday.
• Caldwell: 92°F on Wednesday, 93°F on Thursday, 90°F on Friday, and a high of 99°F on Saturday.
The service also notes that cooler conditions are expected to arrive next week. Other locations, including Banner Summit, Bogus Basin, Brundage Mountain, Fairfield, and Idaho City, are part of the complete forecast, reflecting a significant drop in temperatures following the heat of Saturday.
Residents in affected areas are advised to stay informed as the weather changes over the next several days.
