Hotter Sunday: Boise, Weiser, Ontario Near 100 Degrees

The U.S. National Weather Service in Boise, Idaho has provided a forecast for hotter weather over the next few days with a focus on Sunday, July 13. According to the forecast issued on July 11, 2025 at 1:46 PM MDT, the probability of reaching 100 degrees varies widely across different locations.

The outlook for 100-degree temperatures shows that areas such as Cascade, Stanley, Twin Falls, Jackpot, Gooding, Idaho City, Fairfield, and Halley have a 0% chance of reaching this mark. Other locations have been given low probabilities as well; for example, Lyman, Grasmere, Mountain Home, and Jerome have sees probabilities of 2%, and Council has been given a 14% chance.

In contrast, urban and suburban areas have higher chances of approaching the 100-degree threshold. Boise is forecast with a 72% chance, Weiser with a 93% chance, Ontario at 90%, and Emmett with an even higher 99% probability. Rome stands at 75%, Caldwell at 57%, Grand View at 88%, Halfway at 64%, and Riggins at 74%. The forecast also notes that McCall, Weiser, and other locations have varying probabilities, some listed at 0%.
