Boise VA Launches Expanded Flu Shot Clinics
The Boise VA Medical Center is offering flu shots to enrolled Veterans starting in mid-September. Flu shots are available during regularly scheduled VA health appointments and at special flu clinics.
At the Boise VA Main Campus, services include a Drive-Thru at Flagpole Loop from October 1st to 4th between 8:30 AM and 12:00 PM, with new Saturday hours. Walk-Up Tents are available at the Main Entrance and at Building 114 Behavioral Health from September 29th to October 10th between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Evening Clinic Walk-Ins are held at Building 88 – Orange Team from October 6th to 9th between 4:30 PM and 7:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.
For Outpatient Clinics, the Mountain Home location will offer both drive-thru and walk-up services on October 3rd from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Caldwell clinic will provide drive-thru services from October 6th to October 10th between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The Twin Falls clinic is scheduled for a drive-thru service on October 10th from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Veterans can also receive flu shots at the John Day Elks Lodge with walk-up services on October 22nd from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. In addition, walk-ins are accepted at the Salmon and Eastern Oregon Clinics.
