**Jameka Lewis Brings the Spirit of Kwanzaa to Children’s Hospital Colorado**

Aurora, Colorado – Children’s Hospital Colorado recently welcomed a special guest, Jameka Lewis, from Denver's Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library. Lewis made an engaging visit to Seacrest Studios, an area within the hospital dedicated to bringing creativity and joy to its young patients and their families.

During her visit, Lewis read from *Soulful Holidays* by Ciara L. Hill, a vibrant book that highlights and celebrates the traditions of Kwanzaa. This seven-day holiday honors African history, culture, and community values, encouraging reflection and celebration.

The event brought smiles and a deeper understanding of cultural traditions to those who participated. Children’s Hospital Colorado extended warm wishes for a peaceful and joyful Kwanzaa to everyone in celebration.

This initiative underscores the hospital's commitment to enriching the experiences of its patients by connecting them with cultural education and creative events.
